The EPS 95 is an independent  scheme not linked to any other scheme.The same is reviewed  from time to time by the Government. If I remember correctly  the same was  reviewed last year.

As for as PRMS is concerned  the COS had approved it recently along with pension scheme for FCI employees. The issue is to be placed before the cabinet. If and when the same is approved, the same will be implemented. Pension from 1 12 .2008 and PRMS prospectively.
