Till the evil of corruption is uprooted entirely from our lives, we
may look upon some positives (amidst numerous negatives, of course),
associated with it:
(i) Money is the biggest motivator for most of the people. Thus
corruption, though unintentionally, facilitates faster development &
speedy services to public in general, by improving the efficiency of
otherwise sluggish system.
(ii) When money earned through corruption is spent, it again adds to
overall growth of the nation.
(iii) It acts as deterrent to law-breakers, the people who can't
afford the amount of bribe, generally don't dare.
(iv) At the same time, it protects citizens from the bad laws,
considering the fact that on account of excessive legislations,
substantial portion of our population earns its daily livelihood from
illegal means, one way or other.
It needs further thinking.....
