Faith Conference

Dearest All….

 

These days we are getting calls from different people asking for exceptions on attending the conference….some maybe for half time attending, some for 1 day etc…..Some late attendance...

And the calls are being routed to different people…..

 

We are insisting that all participants be present in the venue on 12^th Oct in the morning (by 7 am) itself and latest before the Mass of the 1^st day (11:00 am).{Pls Note that the Inauguration by the Bishops is at 9.00 am.} The reasons for this is :

1)      The sessions being more of Church Teachings, it wouldn’t be meaningful to participants who miss the first by coming late, coz they will not be able to understand the later sessions. eg. Nicene creed is divided into 3 sessions and each is connected to the other. If you miss one, then no use attending other sessions. Or leaving early....why come at all if they want to leave before getting the Final Blessing.

2)      Keeping in consideration of the ‘possibility’ of getting plenary indulgence, we need to attend the whole conference and especially the 3 Masses to benefit from getting plenary indulgence. Just by being there at the time of blessing will not help.

 

Please explain these to those who ask.  In case of any extraordinary circumstance, pls refer to me, We can discus it based on the gravity of the circumstance.  

 

I hope everyone is OK with this.

 

Let us remember that we are focusing on getting ALL participants benefit from the conference and not more on the number alone!

Perfectly fine chechi !!!!!  Makes total sense!

This would avoid any clashes or confusions that could come later also.......we need to be clear as to why some are not allowed and why some are allowed and it would be better if that person to take decision is u.....
