With regards to booklet, please go ahead discuss the suggestions and finalize with Sharrol chechi by today or weekend.(let the final decision come out of that)

With regards to exhibition posters, badges status myself or John thayil would give an update…you can directly call John on it if needed.

 

Please do come tomorrow to the venue at 9 am and we can also all together finalise on what extra stuff we would need (am not sure of signboards etc)

Just wanted to give/get few updates about printing.

 

I had checked with Coimbatore, erode & Chennai. Finally, found a printing press where one of our chennai JY’s(Pio) dad has more influence to have it done more economically. Hence, chose to go for Chennai - Please confim/comments here.

 

The printing of the booklet is planned to start this weekend (28/9/13). Before that, please advise for the below confirmations,

 

·         The no. of copies required – overall?-à 350

·         Has the color been finalized. If not, single color or multi-color?--> How much is the cost difference? If it is much, then if single color means it will be pretty, then go for single colour (I think single color would mean there would still be color right? )

·         The booklet is of 36pages. Where/which pages the letter(whose letter) to be included? Preferably/usually message would be next to Pope/archibishop’s message. à Please check with Sharrol chechi. She has the order in which it is to be printed

·         What is the budget cost(maximum/minimum) allocated for printing (overall) ? àFrom the budget that Anil and others prepared, overall budget of ALL printing is 15K. this might include printing of booklets, posters for exhibition,badges, banners. We can move it to 20K max. (recheck with Anil on finance).

·         If there are other print related requirements, please collate together so that we can print altogether. For instance: Badges, Posters, stickers(if any), any call-outs or printed charts for Audio-visual ministry, any back-drops for decoration ministry, any sign boards for venue etc., The more business, the more I can negotiate for printing cost.--> I am doubtful if we will get everything this by Sunday. Definitely will be ready by next 2^nd or 3^rd hopefully. Would that be enough? Can we think of still telling the press that we have more to give and so to consider reduction?

·         When the designs/information of Badges, posters, letters will be reaching me? à badges and letters will reach you latest by 2^nd Oct.  The posters/exhibition stuff, audio visual stuff might reach by 2^nd Oct or latest by 4^th Oct

·         The deadline for all components? àCan we get everything printed if provided by 2^nd or 4^th oct on 5^th or 6^th Oct(atleast the exhibition prints? So that the people can work on setting it up in the weekend? What is ur thought?)

 

Note:

The printing of each elements many not be available with same press. If so, cost may vary according to each press’s estimate. We are trying to have more cost-effective Printing but still requesting to accept the practical facts.

 

Please advise.

These are all the components which will be taken care by me, rest all print-related which has not reached today 2/10/13(the deadline fixed earlier per Roshan's email) has to be taken care of by each individuals/ministries/groups who holds the responsibility.

Note:

Please choose the final option of the T-shirt color/design. I had prefered to go for white or Ash(not colored T-shirt but the material/thread will itself be ash), so that the fading of the T-shirt color could be avoided, as it was in the other JY programs. However, its team decision though. We are printing in more cheaper but quality way at Tiruppur factory rate which is possible only there. Hope Pio has already forwarded the design to few, please do let me know the options  as we need to print/proof and transport the T-shirts atleast 2 days before program. This process consumes more time/days than any other. Please advise.

Dear Rajan.

About the cost, please call up Anil and see if this budget is within the limit and then proceed accordingly.

1) Badges soft copy will be ready in another 1 hour. I shall send it to you.

2) I believe the Posters (flexography) that you refer to would be to the backdrop which is from decoration team. From what I understood, it seems Manu has already informed you what is required. None from the decoration team are designers.(the decoration is basically our faith conference stuff like JY logo, Year of Faith Logo, Faith Conference Logo) and Flex stands.

Could you help out in the designing according to Flex? 

Please let me know if you cannot and I shall try to get someone to work on it but since u are more aware of it and what is required, you would be a better option.

3) for T-Shirts, please call up Jelby and Robert and finalise on it. You can have a conference with Jelby & Robert and take a final decision and proceed.

we can do that in the TAGS that we have for the badges...changing colors might be difficult and really not required....people would more look at the tag color which strikes out...

We can keep participants -Blue,  Volunteers-Red, and Religious- Green...

Anyway it's past the time to make changes now.........this would need to be printed tomorrow I think ...

Printing badges in different colour will be expensive and not viable. We can put diff colour tags as we normally do during our pgms.

The design is good and conforms to the national level guidelines. Carry on
