Cake Study Break Today and Excel materials

Hey guys,

Cake Study Break and Strategic Planning, Today, 4-6pm, Range 4 East

For our FCG Consulting Class I'm doing a stakeholder analysis of all FCG members (including exec) as my homework assignment for a week from this Monday. Therefore, I want the amazing insights of all you! 

Come by room from 4-6, eat cake and cookies and tell me your thoughts! Email me if you think you will come by today. 

If you can't come today, could you please fill out the attached Strategic Planning Survey and email it to me by: Friday, Feb. 15th, 11:59 PM.

Excel Training

Attached are the materials from the Excel Training for those of you who couldn't make it. 

• Document #1 is an excel document you can play around with, but you need to enable Macros to open it. 
• Document #2 Excel Shortcuts is extremely helpful for you to practice with.
• Document #5 are how to change Mac settings to make excel  for Macs more like excel for Windows. 

Liz, also gave us some best practices that are helpful:

• Create your own toolbar with the functions you use most often (then you can also create keyboard shortcuts).
• Color code numbers to remind yourself and others of what the number represents: blue= inputs, black= calculations and references, green= references from another sheet, red= warnings to another user of links to another model, dark red= formula. 
• Create comments on cells with formulas that lists your assumptions.
