Fwd: FCG Exec Board Openings

Dear FCG members,

Ben and I would like to fill two additional spots on the FCG Executive Board: Membership Chair and Outreach Chair.  

The Membership Chair will be in charge of recruiting new FCG members, planning trainings and professional development opportunities, and helping form project groups based on their knowledge of members' strengths and weaknesses.

The Outreach Chair will be tasked with client recruitment, creating and editing marketing materials, planning FCG non-training events, and working with the Board of Advisors.

While these are large tasks, I expect that all FCG members will be involved in each of them - trainings should be based on group suggestions, and everyone should be keeping an eye out for potential FCG clients at all times.  So in addition to being able to work with Ben and me, being able to delegate tasks and work with groups is essential for success in these positions.

If you are interested in either of these positions, please send me your name and a BRIEF (5 sentence max) description of your interest and qualifications by Monday, April 1st at Noon.  We will make a decision by Tuesday, and the new Exec Board members will attend an Exec Board meeting at 12:00 on Wednesday to transition with the old Board (unless you have a reasonable conflict).

Finally, if you think there is some additional role that should be on the FCG Exec Board that we haven't thought of - let us know!  We'd love any additional input you have on this and all other matters.

We are also looking forward to seeing you for FCG's operational planning meeting tomorrow from 3:00 - 5:30 in the Lower Seminar Room!  Those of us in the Consulting Short Course are cooking up some yummy food for you, so come with your appetite and your ideas about how to improve FCG next year!
