REMINDER: Non-Profit Board Workshop on WEDNESDAY

Alright guys, here's your 48 hour reminder that we will be having our non-profit board workshop with the Center for Non-profit Excellence and Community Investment Collaborative's Wendy Brown on Wednesday, 3/27 at 1PM in the Garrett Hall Seminar Room. Wendy has generously donated her time to us and this promises to be a great workshop (I have already seen her presentation), so I look forward to seeing you all there! I have only heard from 2 people telling me that they will not be able to make it, so we expect to see everyone else on Wednesday. Looking forward to it!

Thank you Colleen for setting up a great training with Wendy Brown on Roles and Responsibilities of Boards in Non Profits! The training was very engaging and extremely useful, so I have attached the slides for everyone to keep as a reference. 

FCG Attendance for Trainings: Thank you for all who attending the training or emailed Colleen because of a conflict. Please, in the future try to attend FCG trainings, but email the organizer and formativec...@gmail.com well in advance to let us know if you cannot make it. This will allow us to have a good attendance and thus the most effective trainings and put a good face forward of FCG to those community members who are giving the training. 

FCG Operational Planning Meeting, Monday, April 1st, 3-5:30pm. Madison, Ben, Caitlin, Colleen, and I have been putting a lot of work into Monday's Operational Planning Meeting and we hope you can all attend! Please, email me and formative...@gmail.com if you have a class conflict and you cannot attend. This will be our last FCG formal group meeting, besides a fun end of year get together.
