In an effort to keep our citizens and Communities safer, the Aurora Police Department PAR unit offers free security surveys. We would be more than happy to come to your residence or place of business and suggest ways to make your property a less desirable target to criminals.  AREA 13 Newsletter – Changes are being made to our newsletter format and distribution, the changes will go into effect soon, the September date was a lie! Sorry all.  The new format will be more direct and informative regarding crime statistics and crime locations, the distribution will changed to a monthly newsletter. I would like to apologize to all for the lack of an updated newsletter. The City of Aurora changed over the email and office operating systems and you we're all lost as a group, long story, but if you are reading this you have been found and we should be back to normal. I wanted to update you on what's transpired over the past month in the area.

There were over 129 traffic summonses issued by patrol in our area. Additional summonses by Motorcycle officers are not included.

 

 If you look at the numbers, sans the shoplifts and the business robbery, it wasn't a horrible reporting period in our residential neighborhoods. Commercial locations are high lighted.
