It has been a long time since my last email update (July 1), so there is
quite a bit to cover...

---- Decider updates
In early July and since, we have been making updates to Decider. These
improvements have made the look and feel, operational modes, and pother
features far more usable and easier for collaboration. Among the
improvements are:

- import and export of decisions and decision groups, which allows
people to share decisions quickly and with very little space and time.

- screenshots of decisions, which allows a picture of a decision to be
attached to an email or put into a document.

- history recovery, which allows the complete history of a decision, a
group, or all decider use to be restored as decisions and those
decisions to be put into other groups or reused as desired. This beats
the heck out of "undo". You cal almost make a movie out of your decision
processes.

- improved compatibility, which provides excellent operation under
Windows, Mac, Linux, and across different versions of java runtime
environments.

--- DMCA rulings updated
In July of 2010, the digital millennium copyright act (DMCA) got an
update by the department of commerce which is authorized to make rules
regarding its implementation. The latest ruling allows reverse
engineering for security research, but not for forensics or other use in
legal matters. A very interesting ruling indeed. Read details at all.net

This article was rejected from a conference because it was too short. I

--- Sorry for the long delays in getting updates out
