December 1, 2010 - Changes to the Federal Rules of Evidence - Rule 26
These changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure make an enormous
difference in reduced costs and increase efficiency for expert witnesses
as well as improving the requirements fort those experts to spell out
what they are going to say and what basis they have for saying it.
December 11, 2010 - Code book cryptography may be nearly dead
The title says it all. Code books - at least ones that don't use secret
books (i.e., anything using a published work as its code book) appear to
be dead for all practical purposes. We will see how it really shakes
out, but I think it's all over... read all about it - in one page.
Also - you might want to update your copy of Decider from the Web site.
There are lots of improvements - each one small - but in the aggregate
pretty big. There is also an improved version of Forensic Fonts that
came up some weeks ago.
