Today, Sunday March 22 2015, WikiMedia NYC will host Wikipedia Day NYC 2015 - a celebration and mini-conference for the project's 14th birthday - at Barnard College in NYC. There will be many and varied open space sessions for every interest from beginners to experienced editors. Following up on the recent Black Lives Matter Edit-a-thon, there will be a link up with the Afrocrowd initiative. Similarly following up on the Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon - MoMA 2015 there will be an emphasis on extending coverage of the collections of NYC's museums. The event will include two plenary panels and a lightning talks session, all of which will be webcast live via the Internet Society Livestream Channel.
