Happy New Year, everyone!

I hope that January has treated you well thus far and that each of you finds yourself safe and warm in the impending weather. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we needed to push back our originally scheduled January Interagency meeting. However, I’m excited to share two upcoming opportunities in February that we hope you’ll join us for.

Both sessions are geared toward agency staff and community partners who support residents and clients, with the goal of building our collective capacity to better serve our community.

February 6 | Financial Resilience Breakfast

We are excited to host a Financial Resilience Breakfast featuring Wil Golden from the UGA College of Family & Consumer Sciences. Wil coordinates the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program and will share valuable insights and resources.

February 13 | Athens Achieves Job Portal Demo

We’ll be back at the ACC Library for a live demonstration of the Athens Achieves Job Portal. This session is the third collaboration in a four-part series between Envision Athens and Family Connection–Communities In Schools of Athens.
