I installed FBReader on Ubuntu Linux and opened an EPUB book, but I
couldn't figure out how to move from page to page. There's no scroll
bar and using the arrow keys and pageup and pagedown keys had no
effect. Please help...

Open the Settings dialog. Click on the Keys tab. Select the action you
want (large scrolling, small scrolling, etc) and click on the "Key" box.
Hit the key you want to use. (I use space for page advance and down
arrow for line advance.)

Hi Gary,

I suppose that FBReader shows this file incorrectly (the first page
only). Could you please
1) Check the FBReader version
2) Send me the epub file displayed with a problem

It is a valid multipage epub book... I can read it on the Windows
version of FBReader. At least the Windows version has a scrollbar and
works as most apps work. I can't understand why the Linux version
doesn't work the same.

There is no settings dialog as far as I can tell. On the Windows
version, there is a "cog" wheel at the top of the display, but not on
the Linux version. I installed the Linux version from the Ubuntu
application repository. I guess it's the latest?

Not sure. Latest version for Ubuntu is available from the fbreader
repository, please read http://www.fbreader.org/desktop/debian.php for
more info.

There should be a crossed screwdriver and wrench. This leads to the
Settings dialog.
