FBReader doesn't save bookmark and saves the wrong resume location

FBReader worked great on my ZT-180 until it crashed and I had to re-
install. Now the software will not save bookmarks after the program is
closed, and it doesn't remember the last page read correctly. When
opening a book that I'm reading it usually starts 16 pages back from
where I was last reading. Any advice on how to fix?
