Would you lead a workshop at CBF General Assembly in Washington, D.C.,
June 28-29, 2007?
At the initial FBPM meeting in Atlanta we brainstormed some topics that
could be of wide interest.
Two ideas emerged: a. a pastor/minister of music panel dialogue to
discuss healthy working relationships; and b., "Baptizing the Christian
Year in Song," a workshop on hymns, congregational song structured
according to the church year. Could be a survey of the best of new
hymns or simply a review of hymns old and new.
Maybe you have your own idea that you'd like to offer. That would be
great, too.
A worshop application from Toni Draper in the CBF office can be found
under Files. Application deadlines are January 15, 2007. If
interested, download the file and submit to the CBF office.
Let's offer something to church musicians and to laity who care about
the health of church music in D.C. this year.
All the best,
Doug Haney
