Dear colleagues:

I want to invite to attend the Music Ministry/Preaching Practicum here
at Wilshire in Dallas on Monday through Tuesday, 23-24 April 2007. For
many years our pastor George Mason has hosted a workshop called
Preaching Practicum on the art and craft of preaching. This year we
are adding a parallel track called Music Ministry Practicum. The focus
is the art and craft of leading congregational song and I am pleased to
announce that Michael Hawn is our presenter. Mike understands the art
of helping people sing together like no one else I know.

I'll be adding a brochure to the File list here as soon as it is
available. The fee for the two day workshop is a modest $100 per
person. If you and your pastor sign up together, the fee is $150
total. Registration will be limited.

I hope we have the chance to learn together more about the art and
craft of leading singing (and to have some excellent Tex-Mex food!) in
Dallas, 23-24 April 2007.
