Sweet Friends,

I am sorry to bother you will a personal matter, but Katie's school really needs everyone's support today...

 

As many of you already know, Spartanburg Charter School has entered the Kohl’s Cares contest in which twenty $500,000 grants will be given by Kohl’s Department Stores to the twenty schools that get the most votes on Facebook.  To this point, SCS has exceeded all expectations.  When the initial leader board come out, we were ranked 10^th in a field of THOUSANDS of schools.  We should all be very proud of this accomplishment!  I know I am. We are currently in 22nd place, down by 12,000 votes, and the contest ENDS tonight. 

 

Please go and vote... vote for the underdog, vote for the home team, just please go and vote.

Thank you and Katie sends each of you a big hug.  She drew a picture in school yesterday, and put that her wish was that her school would win the contest.  Now I know she doesn't realize how much $500,000 is, but she knows this is important.
