UNSUPORTED_TYPE error at runtime

Hello

I am new to FBDK and IEC 61499 and I started with some tutorials found in ie.rutgers.edu/resource/research_paper/paper_05-017.pdf.

I am trying to make a composite function block. At first, it didn't let me change the inputs and outputs or to delete them by clicking on the FB on the workspace (how it was written also on the holobloc website) so it did this manually in the XML code. After this I saved the FB with no error, but when I try to run it it gives the error UNSUPORTED_TYPE. 

Here is the part of the log where the error appears:

ON_OF_OC_TEST.IO: <Request ID="5" Action="CREATE" >

  <FB Name="$$_ON_OF_OC" Type="ON_OF_OC" />

</Request>

ON_OF_OC_TEST.IO: <Response ID="5" Reason="UNSUPPORTED_TYPE" />

Can you please help me?

The Rutgers document is obsolescent (8 years old). Please consult the
"How To" pages on the Holobloc website:

there.
