FLASH FLOOD WARNING!

Hi,

Some of you may recall that 2 years ago Amadu Massally, NOSLINA Diamond Awardee, visited Trinidad and Tobago and came upon Sierra Leone Road in the country but noticed it had no road sign. Amadu's persistence led to the erection of the road sign and historical note on it spelling out ties between Sierra Leone and Trinidad as a result of the Slave Trade. I say all this to say that just a few hours ago Sarian Bouma, the first NOSLINA co-Diamond Awardee (along with Rev. Dr. Roland Timity) notified me Sierra Leone Road in Trinidad has been HIT by flooding among other parts of the country!

1. Immediately below is the video of Amadu's foray into Trinidad leading to his Sierra Leone Road finding and the subequent recognition of the Road by the country's authorities, an outcome of Amadu's relentless efforts.

2. Next is a link from Sarian of the flood of Sierra Leone Road (top of list of areas flooded, go to 32nd second of the video please).
