Womens ministry update

Our meeting went well. We have set 2 dates set.
On Monday February 20th we will have movie night at 6:30 pm bringing a
snack and
drink to share. The plan is to start the movie at 7 pm and watch
National
Treasure.
If someone can not come due to no one to watch the children we can talk
about
getting some of our husbands to watch a child or two.
The other is to be a learn to cook. This will be at the church kitchen.
Hoping
to enlist ladies with good from scratch recipes to walk us through an
entire meal; each person having one part of the meal. We hope to get a
list of what each person needs to cook their dish and use what everyone
already has on hand to eliminate costs.
The exact time is still in the air, this will be Saturday March 11th.
Probably
in the morning or early afternoon.
Making some flyers and announcements for these things.
We still do not have our team filled. We need at least one more
volunteer to be
on the team for planning and helping get organized, to attend meetings.
Once we have 5 people we will take those to the nominating committee
and have a
meeting to vote on a "leader", someone to oversee meetings, events and
be the
delegator and mediator.
We have lots of great ideas to use for our ministry.
