S Isaiah 53:11 After the suffering of his soul, he will see the
light of life and be satisfied;
by his knowledge my righteous SERVANT will justify many, and he will
bear their iniquities.
O The prophecy in detail explains what our Savior (Jesus) looked
like to the people of the coming age, how people would treat him and
how they would also rejects Him. Isaiah speaks through God’s word to
tell us that though his death this person will see the light of life.
He explains that He is a servant and will carry our inequity and
justify many. The body of Christ is formed through this new life and
justified through belief in all he suffered for us.
Jesus was servant to all. He came as THE representative of the body of
Christ; what it is suppose to look like. We are made to serve, not to
be served. His suffering on the cross is the magnified example of the
death we have to associate with the world; to die of self and be
reborn with the life in Him.
A I have to live life with the example of who I am in His body. I
was made to serve others and to bring them into relationship with
Jesus. I have to reflect this identity as the main focus of where I
fit in the body of Christ. There will be suffering associated with it,
but it is a daily process of giving up things of myself, and offering
them back to Christ!
P Father, may I continually keep my eyes fixed to heaven, where my
help comes from. I thank You for sending this prophecy to Your people,
for Jesus and the suffering He endured for us all. I celebrate the new
life given to me through this most selfless act, and I work diligently
on cementing together Your church body in this knowledge, for Your
glory!
