S. verse 17 and 18
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious
Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you
may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be
enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called
you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.

O. Paul is praying that the Ephesians would know Christ better and
that the eyes of their hearts would be opened to the hope they have in
Christ.

A. This needs to be my focus. This needs to be my prayer for myself
and for others!

P. Father, I pray you would give me the Spirit of wisdom. I pray
you would reveal yourself to me so that I will know you better.
Father, open the eyes of my heart so that I will see you. Help me to
keep my focus completely on YOU. Forgive me for making my life about
me when it needs to be ALL about You! I pray I will NEVER have
another day where I don't focus on you first.

Heather,

This is the key to the book of Ephesians, and one of my favorite
passages in the Bible. Really knowing and understanding who we are in
Christ, that our relationship with Him is based on His incredible love
and compassion for us, is truly transformational.
