"The Face of an Angel"

Acts 6:8-15
S. Verse 8
Now, Stephen, a man full of God's grace and power did great wonders
and miraculous signs among the people.
Verse 15
All who were sitting in the Sanhedrin looked intently at Stephen, and
they saw that his face was like the face of an angel.
O. Stephen was filled with faith and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Even after being falsely accused, his face was like the face of an
angel.
A. I want to be filled with faith and the power of the Holy Spirit so
much so that my face shines like the face of an angel especially when
under attack. What am I doing so that I may be completely filled with
the Spirit? I need to be spending as much time as possible with my
Father. He is the only one who can transform my life. There is
nothing I can do expect to surrender everything and remain at his
feet.
P. Heavenly Father, My prayer is that I don't allow my life to get
too busy to remain at your feet. Help me to always remember how I am
apart from you. Father, I pray that as I spend time with you that you
will transform me into who you want me to be. Fill be so full of your
Spirit that my face shines like an angel in even my toughest moments.

Heather,
Your desire to be filled with the God's Spirit is what all believers
should seek. I know that we would be a very different church and a
very different kind of people if the power of the Spirit was more
evident in our lives.
