Build a wind turbine at Falls Brook Centre

Come help build a real wind turbine and get to know the inner workings
of how it generates clean, renewable electricity.

On the weekend of July 30 to August 2, Falls Brook Centre will be
providing a hands-on, demonstration workshop. We will be constructing
a 700 watt wind turbine, enough for a small building or cabin.

This workshop will also cover the basics of wind energy and how it can
work for your home or business. Come ask the experts on how wind
energy can generate electricity for you, and see Falls Brook Centre's
many wind energy demonstrations, including off-grid systems and New
Brunswick’s first net-metering site.

The completed wind turbine will also be auctioned off. It would be
great to see this turbine creating energy in our local community.
Proceeds from the auction will cover the costs of the turbine
materials, with profits going to future workshops.

If you haven't already, sign up! Workshop spaces are limited, so book
your spot today.

The workshop will cost $200. Lunches will be provided. Accommodations
and extra meals are available upon request. We accept cheques or
cash.
