It seems that summer has set up camp early here in Knowlesville.
Whether it sticks around or not, its arrival has reminded us to tell
you about some great events to mark down on your calendar!

Solar Energy Workshop: June 5-6

Reminder - Falls Brook Centre is hosting a workshop on solar energy
with solar guru, Dr. Richard Komp (50 years experience in solar energy
research). We will be providing participants with an understanding of
the ins and outs of solar energy, with two hands-on components to the
workshop: constructing a 60 Watt solar panel and building a solar
dehumidifier. This weekend workshop runs from 9-5 both Saturday and
Sunday. Registration fees are $75 for one day, or $120 for both.
Seniors and students save 50%. For more information on this workshop

Falls Brook’s Second Annual FREE SCHOOL: July 23-25

Save the Date! Last year’s inaugural Free School was a fantastic
opportunity to tap into the wealth of knowledge and skill that our
friends and neighbours have. We’ll be accepting registrations from
teachers and students soon, so please watch for another email in mid-
June. If you have something to teach, or if you just want to find out
what you have to learn, we want you to come out!

Paddle the Restigouche, Build Solidarity – Fundraiser for Nicaragua/
Honduras: August 13-15
