Introduction to Ground Source Heat Pumps workshop at Falls Brook
Centre on September 24th

Curious about geothermal energy? Ever wondered how a ground source
heat pump works? Interested in buying a heat pump? Then this workshop
is for you!

Falls Brook Centre will be hosting a workshop on Ground Source Heat
Pumps. Our Renewable Energy Coordinator, Jason Juurlink has completed
a Green Building and Renewable Energy Technician course. A part of
this was the Canadian Geo-exchange Coalition design and installers
training program for Ground Source Heat Pumps.

We will be looking at the basics of geothermal energy, refrigeration
cycle, system design and heat transfer. We will also be taking a tour
of our renewable energy systems here at Falls Brook Centre.

The workshop runs from 9-5 on Saturday. Registration fees are $70.
Additional meals, accommodations, and tenting also available. Space is
