If you live in New Brunswick, now is an exciting time to be engaged in
all things related to ENERGY.

The provincial government has appointed an Energy Commission to engage
the public on creating a 10 year plan for energy development and use
in New Brunswick. Please visit the Energy Commission website (
http://www.gnb.ca/Commission/index-e.asp ) for information, including
a background document on energy, a public survey, and how to submit a
brief of your views on the energy issue.

Also, there is a list of dates and locations for a series of public
open-house consultations, see the list here: http://www.gnb.ca/Commission/schedule-e.asp
The first consultation is tonight, in Edmundston, and they continue
over the next two weeks.

Be sure to go to the consultations and voice your opinion. Now is a
great time for voice the need for more renewable energy, energy
efficiency, community and cooperative energy projects - all of which
can reduce the use of fossil fuels and GHG emissions, create good,
local jobs, and form the cornerstone of a Green Economy in the
process.

Falls Brook Centre has been engaging and informing the public through
a series of editorials in the local newspaper - the Bugle Observer.
These editorials can be found on our website ( http://www.fallsbrookcentre.ca/energy-editorials
). Please take some time to read them and inform yourself about some
of the issues and opportunities around energy. And please bring the
issues most relevant to you to the consultation opportunities with the
Energy Commission.

Best,
