International Environmental Youth Internship Opportunities

Falls Brook Centre is currently looking for 20 dynamic youth who are interested in building both their personal and professional skills.
We offer a unique intern experience with both an intensive Canadian placement in rural New Brunswick and a 20 week placement with one of our southern partner organizations. Interns build their skills and knowledge in local community development in two settings: rural Atlantic Canada, and Latin America or the Caribbean.
While at FBC the internship training that you receive will introduce you to the following topics:
- organic agriculture and gardening;
- forest restoration and conservation;
- renewable energy and climate change;
- education and leadership;
- intercultural learning;
- community outreach; and
- rural living skills.
Application deadline is March 31, 2011 and placements will be available starting 02 May, 2011
All applicants must be functional in both written and conversational Spanish and you must be a Canadian citizen.
