Internship opportunity

[Falls Brook Centre]

Falls Brook Centre is currently looking for dynamic youth who are interested in building both their personal and professional skills. 

We offer a unique intern experience with both an intensive Canadian placement in rural New Brunswick and a 20 week placement with one of our southern partner organizations. Interns build their skills and knowledge in local community development in two settings: rural Atlantic Canada, and Latin America or the Caribbean.

While at FBC the internship training that you receive will introduce you to the following topics:
 
- organic agriculture and gardening;
- forest restoration and conservation;
- renewable energy and climate change;
- education and leadership;
- intercultural learning;
- community outreach; and
- rural living skills.

Placements will be available starting July 25th

All applicants must be functional in both written and conversational Spanish and you must be a Canadian citizen.
