Hello Friends!
It’s almost that time of the year…

Workshops really are the highlight of Free School - and we’re looking for workshop leaders. You might think to yourself, ‘I don’t have anything to share’, but you do. Of course you do!
You could teach others a specific skill that you have, like knitting or drumming or cartwheeling or bike repair. You could lead a talk on a topic you know well, or facilitate a discussion about a topic you’d like to know more about. For example, you could share how to cook a favourite recipe or make a craft with children. You may prefer leading a walk through the woods or collaborating with others on a song, a play, a piece of artwork, a meal, a tableau? Maybe you want to do something else entirely – please do!
We can offer you:
· Space – indoor or outdoor, open or shrub covered, forested or complete with a wood stove
· Time – 15, 30 or 60 minutes
· A captive audience – brush up on your facilitation skills in an open and safe environment

And if all that didn’t convince you of your capacity to impart knowledge, teach a skill or lead a discussion, we still want you to come, learn from others in our community and participate in some great activities, initiatives, meals and workshops. There really will be something for everyone!
Are you excited yet!? Mark your calendars, book time off work, find a tent, a crew, a car and get out here FRIDAY JULY 26. Things kick off at 7:00 pm with musical performances by New Brunswick based group Jinx the Cat, and we go full-tilt until SUNDAY JULY 18 at 5:00 pm.
Camping is available on-site for $10 per tent, per night. Meals (organic, mostly from our gardens!) are available Saturday (B,L,D) and Sunday (B,L) for $5 a meal.
Come for the entire weekend, or pop up for the afternoon – either way, we’d love to see you!
