Falls Brook Centre hosts new Humanitarian Learning Opportunity in May of 2007
Falls Brook Centre is pleased to offer a once in a lifetime opportunity for environmentally conscious youth. The Global Student Exchange trip to Nicaragua and Honduras will take place May 7th-18th, 2006 and will offer young people from across the province the chance to make a concrete difference through environmental restoration and cultural exchange activities. Activities will include soil and water restoration and protection, kitchen garden development and working with local youth to promote environmental awareness. By participating in this trip you will be providing desperately needed support to development projects, meeting new friends and opening your own heart and mind to the environmental realities faced by billions of people across the world every day. The cost of the trip is $2300, the first installment of $250 which is due Dec. 15th, 2006. A charitable receipt can be provided for $560 of the total amount.
