UN statistics set to colourful graphics

Hello!
I chanced upon this website while looking for something completely
different, but was pleasantly suprised with www.gapminder.org has an
interesting software program that has taken numbers such as child
mortality rate, GDP, poverty gaps between and within countries and
compared them to eachother, through time from the 1960s to about 2003.
Theres also a neat talk that the founder of gapminder, Hans Rosling,
gives, that shows, among other things, that the top swedish medical
students know less about infant mortality rates than chimpanzees, that
is available on Google Videos here ->

Anyway, its something to think about for those of you who are big on
social justice and that sort of thing
