Energy Empowerment Workshops |

at the Falls Brook Sustainable Living Community Education Centre in Knowlesville, NB
In-depth, practical training sessions for those seriously considering Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy purchases or projects. The two day workshops will be divided into two main parts:
Day One:
· energy fundamentals
· energy budgeting and economics
· simple efficiency and conservation measures
· renewable technology overview, understanding product specs, basic system design and component selection
Day Two:
· safety and precaution
· resource assessment and siting
· mounting and anchoring
· wiring and fusing
· monitoring and data collection
· component connection, setup, and installation.

Energy Empowerment II - Aug 12/13 Focused on net-metered solar and wind projects and biodiesel production. |

Energy Empowerment III - Sept 16/17 Focused on solar thermal and geothermal projects |

FBC will deliver the training workshops onsite and demonstrate home energy solutions and installation techniques utilizing our own renewable energy systems. The costs are one-day -$75 ($65 for students); full weekend - $125 ($ 100 for students) (home cooked organic lunch included in price).
