" I don't know " is rarely said these days.

Al Qasim ibn Muhammad was asked a question and he said :

“ I don't know “ .

The questioner insisted and he said :

" Don't look at the length of my beard nor the crowds of people around me, by Allah, I do not know " .

" لا أعلم " : نادراً ما تُسْمَع الآن أو هذه الأيام .

سُئِلَ القاسم بن محمد عن مسألةٍ فقال : " لا أعلم " .

فَأَلَحَّ السائل ، فقال له :

لا تنظر إلى طول لحيتي ولا كثرة الناس حولي ، والله ما أُحْسِنُها أو ( والله لا أعلم ) .
