Rangers, get ready for another awesome Not So Scary Movie Night on
Friday, November 6th, hosted by the Deer Park Dads Club.

How will you preserve your memories? How about with a full color
yearbook? Yearbook pre-sale are underway. Yearbooks are $18.00 each
through December 18, 2009. January 5, 2010 through February 26, 2010
yearbooks will be $20 each. Don’t wait! Reserve your copy today.

The Deer Park Ranger Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts and Chorus will be
honoring Veterans on Wednesday, November 10th. Breakfast will be
served prior to the assembly.

Join the Deer Park PTA for the second General Assembly meeting on
Tuesday, November 17th. There will be presentation on bullying and a
writing workshop.

The Great American Teach In will be held on Wednesday, November 18th.
If you would like to share with our Rangers about your chosen
profession, please send in the speaker form to your child’s teacher.

to print the speaker form.

The Deer Park Dads Club kicked off the 2009 – 2010 school year with a
Dads & Kids Day Out Cookout, which was a HUGE success. Watching the
families play on the bounce house, the waterslide, the basketball
courts, hula hoops, etc was special - exactly what the day was
intended for. This event could not have been pulled it off without
the help from the following Friends of Deer Park: Bay Cities Bank,
BJ’s Wholesale Club, Publix, Gionis Insurance Services, Amazing Jumps,
Jump ‘n Bounce, the Upper Tampa Bay Rotary Club, the Deer Park PTA,
all of the volunteers who gave of their time & talents, and finally to
Coach Mossbarger for the sporting equipment as well as the tunes for
the day. Thank you to all who shared the day with us.

There is a definite chill in the air, SNO CONES! The scheduled dates
for sno cones are Nov. 20, Dec. 18, Jan. 15, Feb. 19, Mar.19, Apr. 23,
May 14, and June ??. Parents will be able to purchase sno cones
anytime during the school year through the PTA sno cone form located
on the PTA website.
