Scam alert from Hillsborough County Citizen Patrol

Everyone,

I have been asked by the Hillsborough County Citizen Patrol to let you
know about a scam going around. They use pregnant women and women with
baby carriages to solicit money from people. They roam around parking
lots asking people for bus fare and other small amounts to help them
and their babies. The police stopped a ring of them at the Walmart off
of Gunn Highway last night .

Please be wary of any pregnant women or women with strollers coming up
to you and asking for money. They are using the economy and their
“motherly” positions to rake in huge amounts of money. If you see
anyone like this roaming a parking lot please call the police or at
the least do not give them any money.
