From a resident on Sunvale (near the Fawn Ridge park)

On Sept. 29, 2009, I had a very unnerving experience. The sheriff's
office came to my house to ask if I had seen any illicit activity
during the day. Since I work during the day, I had not. Apparently,
four houses on my street were broken into today and were cleaned out
pretty well according to the deputy. Vandals entered through the back
screen rooms and broke glass sliding doors. The vandalized houses were
a few doors down in the direction of Ironton. We should all be more
aware and advise our residents of this sad dilemma my neighbors have
just faced. I just thought I should let you know so you can pass this
message along. Thanks.

Update from resident on Sunvale:

Since my initial writing of this e-mail, I spoke with my neighbor who
is one of the victims. It is an absolute horror story. The vandals
drank from a bar, ate from the refrigerator, turned mattresses
upsidedown, just destroyed the house. Horrible.
