Fellow fawmers and fawmettes!

Happy August everybody... we hope your summertime songwriting is going
fabulously! (Unless you're in the southern hemisphere, in which case
we hope your wintertime writing rocks.) Three quick things for our
lyrical lovelies...

1. SUBMIT TO "FAWMPILATION" #6!

You have 2 weeks left to submit your awesome FAWM 2010 songs to this
year's annual "fawmpilation" CD! We'd love to have as many submissions
as possible, so we have an great slew of tunes to listen to and choose
from. We look forward to receiving yours! The deadline is September 1,

2. SXSW 2011!

FAWM founder Burr Settles is in the running to speak again at the
South by Southwest 2011 Conference in Austin Texas. The proposed talk
includes lessons we've learned from seven years of organizing the FAWM
challenge. To help make this happen, please click the following link,

3. DONATE!

It may be the off-season, but we at FAWM work year-round to make plans
