LG G7 and Windows 10

I have tried every combination I can think of...does anyone have any experience with linking a Windows 10 laptop to the LG G7?  I simply get that the laptop cannot detect a device

Could you try the official LG software driver from:

http://www.lg.com/us/support/software-firmware-drivers

It should be under the link titled "LG Universal Mobile Drivers"

I've had that problem with my k7 and resolved it by turning on tethering in my phone settings. I have to do this every time I connect to windows 10.
