Hi,

I upgraded to lollipop on my S5 yesterday. Now, when I connect to Klink, T Mobile automatically sees me accessing the Web and blocks me. They see my computer getting online and see it as something they can monitor and cobtrol. How do I get around this and get back online?

Hi, William.

There's nothing inherent in lollipop or the S5 that should change Klink's behavior.  Could you check the following?

1) Make sure that you've not accidentally enabled the built-in hotspot/usb tether modes on your device.  Be sure to check Phone settings > More for all related settings and disable.

2) Try enabling the mimic mode within Klink, and set it to Level 3 or higher.

Does that help?  Please let me know how it goes!

Hi,

Netflix typically uses standard web protocols (HTTP), so its traffic (and thus Klink's behavior) fundamentally looks exactly like any regular web page request.

My guess is that non-mobile Netflix traffic is being filtered at the network level, which would lead to such problems.

A VPN service like Hola (http://www.hola.org) will probably clear things up.

Hi,

I was able to get back online with level 3 and get back to my work. However, I do notice that I cannot seem to get on to Netflix and actually run a movie. Is there something I am missing there? Do I need to go to Advanced?
