Klink blue won't boot  unless I remove it from my computer apps and somehow reinstall it.  How do I do that, (in baby steps please)?  Good app which I have used as needed for years.

Hi,

Since you're running Yosemite, you might need to update Klink's Mac software, especially if you're seeing a device negotiation error.

First, check the existing version of Klink on your Mac.

- Run Klink on your Mac.
- Click the Klink menu at the top of your Mac.
- Choose About.

If you have version 1.09, you should be set.  If you have an earlier version, you'll need to update it in order to use Klink with OS X Yosemite (or even Mavericks).

I've written up a set of instructions for downloading and installing Klink to your Mac in the setup guide or directly from here:

It should be somewhat improved and simplified since the time when you first installed Klink.

The steps will walk you through downloading the new version of Klink's Mac program.  You'll want the one for an Intel mac (most common).

Then, it'll walk you through copying that the DMG installation file to your Mac.

After doing that, it's just a matter of dragging the Klink file out of the installation image to your Mac's Application folder.

Does that work for you?
