Missing/Unavailable Food IDs — Requesting Replacement or Confirmation

Hi FatSecret Platform API Support Team,

I'm reaching out regarding several food and serving ID combinations that are currently unavailable via the API, which are impacting our production application.

Below are the specific combinations we need help with:

1. Food ID: 4377215 | Serving ID: 4260770
2. Food ID: 4377215 | Serving ID: 4260769
3. Food ID: 10811554 | Serving ID: 10299006
4. Food ID: 7507048 | Serving ID: 7237030

Could you please:
1. Confirm whether these food/serving IDs have been removed, merged, or retired.
2. If merged, provide the replacement food_id and serving_id for each.
3. If retired, advise the closest equivalent item currently available in the database.


Any assistance or expedited response would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out. These foods are available if you license the respective country dataset they are published in.

Please reach out to our support team specifying your API key and your subscription type and your support team can take a look if/how you can potentially upgrade and access those foods

Thanks for the reply.

My system currently has 6,000 active users, and it’s down because of these 10 food IDs. This is a very difficult situation for me right now.

If possible, could you please help by providing just the ingredient names for these IDs? I can manage the rest from my side.

I’m also okay with upgrading the plan if needed — I just need urgent help to get the system running again.

We’re currently on the Premier Free edition, and those IDs were accessible earlier, but it seems something changed in the last few days.

Should I share my client ID here so you can better understand the issue?

The above foodIDs are not part of our US English dataset that you have been granted free access to hence you don't have access to these.
While some of these might have been available historically, they will not be available going forward as they are not adequate for region US and English language.
