Inquiry Regarding API Rate Limits

Hi, I am a developer currently working on an iOS application that integrates with your API services.

As we are in the process of developing our application, we are keen to ensure that we adhere to any rate limits imposed by your API services to maintain a smooth and reliable experience for our users. However, after reviewing the API documentation and forum discussions, we were unable to find specific information regarding the rate limits.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide us with details on the following:

1. What are the rate limits for API requests? (e.g., maximum requests per second, per minute, per hour)
2. Are there different rate limits for different API endpoints or methods?
3. Are there any burst limits or restrictions on concurrent requests?
4. Is there a mechanism for detecting when rate limits have been reached?

Additionally, if there are any guidelines or best practices for implementing throttling or handling rate limits effectively within our application, we would be grateful for any advice or examples you can provide.

For the basic tier, the limit is 5,000 calls per day. For Premier and Premier Free tier, there are no API call limits.

Any other potential limits are only applied in case of usage anomalies which are automatically detected and set by various monitoring systems which is best practice and has been working very well over the past 10 years.

There are no specific restrictions for end points. If there ever was a breach you would receive an error message "user performing too many requests" and our team would subsequently reach out.
