F&F 2018

[Chucky 1]

Hi all,

2018 has started with a bang and Fatima & Friends are already up and running.

So far we have assisted/participated in Kairi Peoples carnival events, FOBA annual carnival fundraisers and the Intercol Nostalgia Football Festival.

As we know our “season” resumes on the Friday after Easter, which is Friday 6th April, with small goal sweat on the college grounds (ceteris paribus)

However, this year we will be “bringing back” two oldies but goldies of events that we have become world famous (infamous??) for hosting.

During the July month, either the weekend of July 13th-16th or 20th- 23rd, we want to return to Tobago to engage in football, reflection and prayer (seriously??)

These are things that  we have done many times before, their templates are already there, all we need is commitment early so planning can be completed well in advance.

Those of us with definite contacts for accommodation (2-houses close by), ability to secure boat tickets en masse for both persons & vehicles, secure food items to cook (and cooks), please feel free to volunteer your services.

Then on either Saturday 10th or 17th of November we are hosting the Francis John memorial tournament.

So again those with contacts for football fields (preferably with lights), persons willing to sponsor products, contacts with referees etc please feel free to volunteer your services.

Please be reminded that although i boast that these events has been successfully hosted in the past, lets not be complacent and allow valuable planning time to slip away and leave us scrambling at the end.
