Fatima & Friends vs Couva Teachers

Ok guys we are on!!

This Friday 16th F&F hosts Couva Teachers at the St. James Infirmary (Poor House), this game MUST start by 4.30pm latest to facilitate them “staying sober” after finishing work by 2.30pm AND to allow them to go onto “de Avenue” to lime after (by the way de Oval boys whom interested could get eeen ah first half)

Now we know the arrangement with Couva Teachers, host provide the food and the visitors the drinks, therefore we feed, we have engaged Señor Ramdoo for his speciality dish, Lasagne with corn on the cob, garlic bun & fresh salad, cost is $1,200 so we are requesting $60TT a man to cover our costs.

We need a starting 11 (Ravi has already confirmed his availability, guys please help).

We also need music and Doc is out of the country so ALL others needed.

Looking out for for a great turnout.

I don't usually comment as it is difficult for me to guarantee on a Friday evening that I can reach in a timely manner. 
But I will make an exception this Friday to reach this match based on your request as Ravi has confirmed his attendance and therefore the team is in a dire situation...

By the way guys today November 14th is a significant day on our Fatima & Friends calendar.

Yes its the date we all found out that our “Captain for Life” had passed on.

Fond memories still abound.

I'm disappointed to miss this game. Look forward to Couva teachers game. I don't have the legs to play there and Oval too. That was years ago. Lol. Recovering from a hamstring  doesn't help too.
Chucky if they don't want to do Avenue. You could bring them to the Oval after. Between Nissan and Fatboys, we should be able to host them.

I am Disappointed the oval men will miss the real section of this game. (3 rd half )
It is season special.

Unfortunately I also have a game in the Oval at 5:30PM. We really look forward to this game with Couva every year. As Kurt mentioned, we are willing to host them at the Oval.

Well I have good news & great news for de “Oval crew”, Couva Teachers just called to postpone. 

Apparently this bad weather has affected the south land harshly and flooding has least started in many areas. 

As such they cannot guarantee a full team for tomorrow (in-fact a lot of schools were dismissed early today). 

The “good news”??
We have re-scheduled for Friday 30th November. 

Now for the great news- I am unable to secure a ground and a team for tomorrow (firstly no one can be early for us to use the Infirmary grd) sooo.... 
NO GAME tomorrow Friday and we all shall convene at the Oval, yes Mau, Burkette will be there to “cheer” you on. 

My apologies for this kinda late notice. 

Don’t forget next Friday 23rd we are up Santa Cruz for Football den de councillor Parang

Well the bad news is that November 30th is Final Day for the Oval Tournament. So the Oval men still would not be available.
