Men's Club Meeting Minutes Sunday Feb 28, 2016

Please see The Men's Club Meeting Minutes for yesterday's meeting below:

1. Sat March 12 at 10am is SOD laying day at the school. Please let me know if you  can come help.

2. Teacher Appreciation Dinner will be hosted by Sharon and Ken Mustered. Same format as last year - Pot Luck and $100 cash bonuses.

3. Shuckers Raffle - Need to ask around to see if someone will donate a suite for one of the games and we provide $250 catering fee. Plan is to raffle off a game towards the end of the school year. Tickets will be sold for $5/each and plan is to  print 2,000.

4. Current bank balance is ~$16.6K (Thank you  for the amazing accounting job Anthony!)

5. Mike Massey will be new Men's Club President after this school year ends. (Congrat's Mike! I'll be in the club for another year and will help get you through it. :) )

6. Still in need of a Treasurer, Anthony Butler's children graduate in May. Any takers?

7. Wizard of OZ props - Plan is to purchase materials and recruit St. Patricks Drama Guild and Art Students to help create the props. Also will check around with local prop houses and Lynn Meadows Discover Center Staff to see if any items can be re-used from their prop storage sheds. We can help to make some of the items and provide transportation to Lynn Meadows.

8. Brian Chevalier to repair irrigation box and sprinkler heads for OLF irrigation system. He knows we need this done by March 12 to water new SOD.

9. We successfully tuned and cleaned the Music Dept's Piano and plan to purchase some small instruments for the Music Teacher.

10. Will check with Fatima Art Dept. for needs. By giving Office Depot and Office Max the OLF school ID when  making purchase it allows the school to obtain 5% credits toward free school/art supplies - 70058315 - OUR LADY OF FATIMA SCHOOL

11. Anthony to call weed treatment vendor to treat grass on OLF play ground. Plan to do this every semester going forward to keep the weeds out of the fields.
