Questions about Fr. Ken Roberts etc.

Hi Father Joe,
On EWTN Fr. Anthony said that he gave home masses
to the biggest contributor of EWTN and he proceeded to
say of course she chose me. Now why is he allowed to
do home masses and Fr. Ken Roberts is punished for
doing it? Do you know Fr. Roberts age? Also does Fr.
Roberts have an email address? I'd like to praise him
for his glorious works which is obviously God's will.
Do you know where he resides at present? Does he still
have pilgrimages to Medjugorje?

The problem is not home Masses.

Fr. Ken Roberts has been censured for purported acts of child
molestation. He is not allowed to wear clerical garb or to officiate
any of the sacraments. While he will always be a priest, his active
priesthood and ministry is over. I understand that much of the video
and audio material from his ministry has been destroyed. His books
are out of print and will not be republished. If he says Mass for
people, even in their homes, then he is in violation of holy
obedience. He has no faculties (permission) from his bishop to do any
priestly work. He is not allowed to give pilgrimages, talks, or
anything else.

Sorry, I liked him, too. But that is the way it stands. He let us us
all down and must live with what happened.
