Atheism--the new apologetics challenge

Hello, Father. I enjoy your blog and have been reading your wonderful
apologetics posts. They are bringing to mind an issue that has sadly
hit all to close to home: the "new" atheism.

After years of enduring anti-Catholicism from an ex family member (he
was abused by a Catholic priest and is now an anti-Catholic
Pentecostal) my son has left the faith thanks to Richard Dawkins and
his ilk.

I have, over the years, amassed various books outlining some of the
things you have been recently discussing on your blog, i.e. the
authority of the Church, where we got the Bible, etc.

Now, I am faced with a new line of apologetics challenges re:
atheism.

Personally, I think that (anti-Catholic) atheism is the new
apologetics frontier.
