FAT-PIE NEWSLETTER #3 April '08
****************************************

Good morning world. It's Firgul here for Fat-Pie Newsletter #3. If you
can remember Newsletter #1 then you have a great memory. It was about
3 years ago! What a ridiculously fast set of years. 3 Years, 3
newsletters and 3 different desks they were written at. I'll leave
those digits with you chaps and let you conjure some variety of maths-
related conspiracy, because I have a newsletter to write, which means
I need to think of a load of crap to justify me telling you to visit
my site again. And crap I will think of.

NEW CARTOON ALERT!
****************************************

Burnt Face Man 8
http://www.burntfaceman.com/8.htm

Is that series STILL going? Yes it is and I refuse to let it stop
until I'm truly ashamed of my output. It's the first episode since
2006 and not a great deal has changed. Burnt Face Man must take GOD's
orders in this installment and help out a man who's having trouble
with his hands. If I tell you any more I'll ruin it.

Also newish:

The World Within A Sock

4 Cartoons made for Charlie Brookers Screenwipe. Very short, very
quick, didn't come out as planned, but they were worth uploading so
they're worth 4 minutes of your time I'm sure. I'll point you to the
first one and you can work out how to find the others.

NEWS - FATPIE PODCAST
****************************************

You've probably heard the word "Podcast" so often that you're bored of
the concept, I know I have. But boredom aside, because our podcast
won't be in the slightest bit boring. Stupid opening sentences aside,
we've been working on this for a while now and we've got a lot of
stuff recorded. It's going to be an AUDIO podcast (expected groans and
loss of interest) but don't worry, it'll not be one of those podcasts
where 2 blokes just waffle on for hours about nothing in particular,
it's going to be more of a comedy sketch show with lots of improv but
also lots of written stuff. The episodes will be based around the
radio station WALLER FM and will be around 25-30 minutes each. When
the first 6 are done we'll release them every other week or something
and hopefully get the next lot started as soon as these are done.
They'll feature many many characters, some old and loads of new.

The Fat-Pie podcasts will be out soon. Not really soon, but soon. To
give you a little taste, I've set up a http://www.myspace.com/wallerfm
with a couple of idents and some song parodies on there. I haven't
uploaded any proper sketches yet, but maybe I will.

ANYTHING ELSE TO MENTION?
****************************************

I've been writing a cartoon so long that it may be feature length. I'm
just writing at the moment but it could develop into something quite
big.

****************************************

I'm hoping to release a DVD of cartoons at some point soon. Talks are
just talking at the moment but if it does happen then it won't just be
a crappy cash-in DVD, it'll be packed with extras, exclusives,
commentaries and a whole host of other crap that makes DVDs worth
buying.

****************************************

I'm working on a new Locust Toybox album to follow last year's album
"Felt Crayons" which can be downloaded here: http://www.fat-pie.com/locusttoyboxfeltcrayons.rar
Locust Toybox is one of my solo music projects that I do for fun. I
use lots of instruments and a computer to make the music. So far I
have made an album every year since 2003. Why not bother the myspace
page:

Spoilsbury Toast Boy -3: This still might not happen but I've been
writing and sketching it for a while now. It certainly won't be as
gruesome as the previous episode (more expected groans) but I don't
feel like making it gruesome so there's no point in forcing it.

I guess that's enough for now. This has been the Fat-Pie Newsletter
#3. Quite a short one, but there's not much else to talk about. I'll
try and get Crust to do the next one as he's much better at it. I hope
you read it all before clicking the links because multi-tasking gives
you cancer.

SPREAD PIE
****************************************

At the moment you're much better than your friends who don't get the
FAT-PIE shit-hot newsletter, but think about it: if you got them to
sign up for it too - you'd have cooler friends.

I guess that's all for this screws-letter.
