Please find attached the final version of last years minutes. This version is version 1 which was amended after the actual meeting to remove Purley from the schedule and play at Copthorne instead. You will note the minutes record the reason for the change this being Les O’s plea to play Copthorne as the club have spent millions on remodeling the course – we duly played there and can confidently report that none of the fat boys noticed any change!! – It was still an excellent day out – I think!!

I’m sure you’ve been eagerly awaiting the results of the Race to Purley 2025 aka the 2025 FUKT Winner.

Please find attached the final standings.

 

Incredibly, 2 FBs have shared the top spot for the FUKT Winners Trophy.

Congratulations to  Pete and Phil H who both scored a total of 132, averaging an amazing 33 points for their best 4 rounds.

 

So many questions for the AGM:

 

1. Should the trophy be shared for 2025?
2. Should the event be nullified?
3. Should some sort of countback rule be retrospectively used or some other determinatory factor?
4. Is determinatory even a word?
5. How come Steve is so goddamn efficient?

 

TBH – I’m not sure if it’s a monkey’s or a flying f*ck that I couldn’t give, but let’s be sure to spend 20mins discussing this on Monday.

I asked PWC to review the FUKT xls and sure enough they determined that Les O did not score any points in France this year.

They further suggested that it was Pete’s fault that the spreadsheet was wrong but declined to elaborate as to why.

The updated xls is attached.

 

BTW – For those attending the AGM on Monday, please remember to bring a few readies for the whip/ruby – an apple core and a ton should be plenty.
